To start with, the grand event is divided into three stages: preliminary, semi-final and final, during which each student is required to spell as many words correctly as possible within the allotted time. For one thing, the preliminary competition was held in each classroom, and the best of each class were selected. For another, the rematch was held in the school auditorium in a warm atmosphere. Moreover, the students fought hard to get into the final.

After the activity, group leader Yang Chun of the English teaching and research group made a summary of the activity, who spoke highly of students' performance at the event, expressing that similar events would continue to be held in the future to provide more platforms for students to showcase themselves.
